3-Day Joining Group Safari Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Materuni

Itinerary

On the first day of your private safari, you'll embark on an early morning drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast landscapes dotted with baobab trees and diverse wildlife. Your experienced guide will navigate through the park, providing insights into the behavior and habitats of the animals you encounter, which may include elephants, lions, zebras, and giraffes. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the scenic beauty of the park, followed by more game drives in the afternoon. As the day draws to a close, you'll head to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
Rise early to maximize your time exploring the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." Descend into the crater floor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which harbors an incredible array of wildlife, including the Big Five – lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards. Your guide will navigate through the diverse ecosystems of the crater, from lush grasslands to acacia forests, providing opportunities for unforgettable wildlife sightings and photographic moments. Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the picturesque scenery of the crater floor before continuing your exploration. In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and head to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation, recounting the day's adventures under the starlit sky.
On your final day, experience the cultural and natural wonders of Materuni Village, nestled at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Begin with a guided hike through lush forests, en route to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls. Marvel at the cascading waters plunging into a crystal-clear pool below, and take a refreshing swim in the natural pools if you desire. Afterward, immerse yourself in the local culture with a visit to a coffee plantation, where you'll learn about the traditional methods of coffee farming and processing from the friendly local farmers. Participate in a coffee tasting session, savoring the rich flavors of freshly brewed Arabica coffee. Conclude your safari with a delicious lunch prepared with locally sourced ingredients, before returning to Arusha with unforgettable memories of your Tanzanian adventure.
