5-Day Fly in Safari
On this 5-day fly-in safari, you will fly into the Serengeti to see the Great Wildebeest Migration and the wide-open plains. You’ll also go down into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO site, and spot famous animals like the rare black rhinos. Finally, you’ll visit Tarangire National Park, known for its elephants.
Itinerary
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar, Arusha, or Dar es Salaam and driven to the airport for your flight. Fly into Serengeti National Park (Seronera Airstrip). On arrival, meet your safari guide and go on a morning game drive until the afternoon. Enjoy your picnic lunch, then continue with an afternoon game drive until sunset.
Spend the full day exploring the Serengeti and following the Great Migration. Along with the wildebeest, you will have a chance to see predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions.
After breakfast, go on a morning game drive in different areas of the Serengeti. In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch before transferring to Ngorongoro. Upon arrival, take in the amazing view of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its geological wonders and dense wildlife. After exploring, you will ascend the crater and head to Karatu for dinner and overnight rest.
On the final day, start with breakfast before heading to Tarangire National Park. Experience the Tarangire River, large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. After the day’s adventure, you’ll be transferred to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, concluding your 5-day safari.
