We ensure a smooth start to your adventure, giving you the comfort and peace of mind you deserve. If you have any specific requirements or questions, our team will be available to assist you throughout the day. Get ready for an unforgettable experience exploring the beautiful destinations and landscapes ahead.
On Day 2, we depart from Moshi and head to the Marangu Gate, the starting point for our Kilimanjaro adventure. After completing park formalities, we begin our trek to Mandara Hut. This leg of the journey takes us through the lush rainforest with its unique flora and fauna. We enjoy a leisurely walk and have opportunities to observe the wildlife and exotic plants. Our experienced guides will lead the way and provide insight into the fascinating surroundings. Upon reaching Mandara Hut, we’ll settle in, have dinner, and spend the night in this cozy accommodation amidst the natural beauty of Kilimanjaro.
On Day 3, we continue our ascent from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut. The trail takes us through the heath and moorland zone, where we’ll witness the unique high-altitude vegetation of Kilimanjaro. As we climb higher, the landscape gradually changes. Our guides will provide interesting information about the environment and wildlife along the way. We eventually arrive at Horombo Hut, situated on a ridge with stunning panoramic views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Here, we’ll rest, enjoy a hearty meal, and spend the night as we acclimatize to the increasing altitude in preparation for the next day’s journey.
On Day 4, we now pass the last watering point, walking onto the saddle of Kilimanjaro between the peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi. Vegetation begins with upper heathland but then disappears into “moonscape”. Dinner, rest, and prepare for summit climb. Enjoy the stunning landscapes and take in the mountain’s grandeur during this part of the journey.
On Day 5, you’ll face the ultimate challenge as you embark on the ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point of Mount Kilimanjaro. Beginning in the early hours, you’ll trek through the night, guided by your headlamp’s beam and a determination to reach the summit. As you climb higher, you’ll experience various ecological zones and witness the landscape transform. Upon reaching Uhuru Peak, you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking sunrise and a sense of achievement that words can hardly describe.
After celebrating your success, you’ll begin the descent, passing by Gilman’s Point and continuing down to Horombo Hut. The descent is a test of endurance, but with each step, you’ll drop in altitude and oxygen levels, making your journey more comfortable.
Upon returning to Horombo Hut, you can rest and reflect on your incredible accomplishment. The day’s trek is challenging, but it’s a memorable part of your Kilimanjaro adventure.
Day 6 marks the final leg of your Kilimanjaro adventure. After breakfast at Horombo Hut, you’ll begin the descent toward Marangu Gate. The descent takes you through the lush rainforest once more, offering a different perspective of the mountain.
As you make your way down, you might encounter some wildlife and enjoy the sounds of the forest. Your legs will appreciate the decreasing altitude and the easing of the challenges posed by high altitude.
Upon reaching Marangu Gate, you’ll officially check out of Kilimanjaro National Park and receive your summit certificates. From there, a vehicle will transfer you back to Moshi, where you can relish your accomplishments, enjoy a well-deserved shower, and reminisce about your incredible journey to the roof of Africa. It’s a fitting end to an unforgettable expedition.
On Day 7, it’s time to say goodbye to Tanzania as you depart for Kilimanjaro International Airport. Your Tanzanian adventure has come to an end, but the memories of your Kilimanjaro expedition will stay with you forever. Take one last look at the majestic mountain as you head to the airport, and perhaps you’ll be inspired to return for another African adventure in the future. Safe travels on your journey home!

An amazing 3-day safari trip
Just finished a 3-day safari trip, now let's write about our true feelings about this journey. Firstly, regarding the consultation before the trip, Gadiel from Good One Tours answered my questions about safari very professionally and patiently, providing corresponding solutions. After we arrived in Arusha, he also thoughtfully arranged for a driver to pick us up. The driver who picked us up at the airport is Alinice, who is a very responsible person. Before safari, he waited for us at the airport on time and delivered us to the hotel. After finishing the Safari, he helped us arrange a vehicle to Moshi and recorded the driver's contact information to ensure that we could arrive smoothly. Rockie, ourdriver and guide during the safari, has been driving us for three days to search for various representative animals on the African continent. His explanations are enthusiastic and he has shared a lot of knowledge. As the chef, Juma prepares delicious food for every meal, which is a time-consuming but particularly important task, ensuring that everyone has sufficient energy during the Safari process. Everyone works diligently and is responsible to us, leaving a good impression of Tanzania on us. Without a doubt, their work deserves respect. Of course, I expressed my gratitude to them in my own way. The Chinese people and the African people are good friends forever! Thank you again!

Exceptional experience!
Our safari experience was fantastic. The guides were knowledgeable about the animals and their lives, always explaining things in detail. The safari truck was clean and comfortable. We also appreciated communication throughout the reservation process. Gadiel’s morning check-in call before our tour started was a nice. Overall, it was an exceptional experience!

Amazing
Went on a 3-day safari trip to Serengeti and Ngorongoro on a group trip. Very nice experience and well organized trip, especially considering the amount you pay! Got to see many animals Gadiel communicated very well with me for the transfers and hotel arrangements. And when there was a misunderstanding about accommodation once he immediately arranged another hotel and direct transfer. If you're looking for a nice Serengeti trip but are somewhat on a Budget I would really recommend booking with GoodOneTours.

Amazing experience
2 friends an I went for a 4 days safari with Good one Tours to Mikumi and Selous Park. Our guide, Juma was the best we could imagine. He did everything to make our safari incredible, comfortable and magical. We saw all the animals possible thanks to his perfect knowledge of the parks and the animals. He was very attentive both to our comfort and to explain the animal world to us. The lodges and the meals were perfect! Thanks again for the experience. We recommend 1000%.

Amazing experience
We went on 6-day group camping safari with Good One Tours, it was an amazing experience. We were blown away by the sunset in the Serengeti. The views at Ngorongoro Crater were just as incredible, and we saw so many animals up close, including lions, elephants, and zebras. The camping was comfortable, and our guide made sure we had everything we needed while helping us spot a huge variety of wildlife. Gadiel was responsive and resourceful We recommend Good One Tours for anyone looking for a great camping safari.

Unforgettable and amazing
We booked with Robinson and had Juma as our host in the day of safari. Booking was straightforward and instructions were clear, all aspects of the trip were well organized. Robinson was an amazing host, very knowledgeable and a great driver. He also dealt with our lost luggage and arranged for its return to us. We had the most amazing day and were so impressed with his skills- he spotted a sleeping hyena under bushes! Highly highly recommended!

best and worst of safari
Safari is great, parks are amazing and animals fantistic. We get to see all big five. Good one tour guys are good and avaible, Gadiel, Abraham, Elii got to make us feel good in every situation. During safari we change guide, the first one (Abraham) was really good, but the second (who drove us through serengeti and ngorongoro, the two main park) was not a guide but just a driver. Durimg safari you will see buches of cars getting auperclose to a lioness with cubs or going offroad to get out of huge group if jeeps that get close to see a leopard very far, so the guide would make a huge difference to not make you feeel like you are just a spoiled white human who want to make a picture. overall was a lifechanging experience, and good one tour is really looking after clients agency

Amazing safari
Goodone tours helped us organising everything about our safari. We visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, Tarangire and Arusha National Park. Despite the second guide who was with us the last 3 days was very unkind and not prepared, our first guide was excellent and the experience was amazing. Recommended but you should ask for having good guides before. All the people from goodone tours were amazing, kind and available.
