Itinerary
On Day 1, your adventure begins with a warm airport welcome. You arrive at the airport, and our friendly team is there to greet you. From the airport, we smoothly transfer you to your comfortable hotel, ensuring a stress-free start to your journey. Once you’ve settled in at the hotel, you can relax and prepare for the exciting days ahead. The anticipation of the safari or trekking experience will keep you excited, and the cozy hotel is the perfect place to rest, recharge, and adjust to your new surroundings. It’s a seamless transition, ensuring you’re ready for your upcoming adventures.
On Day 2, you embark on your journey from Moshi to the Machame Gate, which marks the starting point of your Machame Route trek. Your adventure commences here, and you’ll trek to the Machame Camp. The trail leads you through the lush rainforests of Kilimanjaro, offering a glimpse of its rich biodiversity. It’s a day filled with natural beauty and the sound of the forest. As you make your way to Machame Camp, the surroundings gradually change, and you’ll be able to appreciate the unique landscapes of this iconic mountain. This day sets the stage for the remarkable journey ahead.
On Day 3, you’ll continue your trek, leaving Machame Camp behind and heading towards Shira Cave Camp. As you ascend Kilimanjaro, you’ll notice the landscape changing from the lush rainforests to moorlands. This day’s journey is marked by unique vegetation and stunning vistas. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to acclimatize to the increasing altitude as you reach Shira Cave Camp. The camp is nestled in the alpine desert zone, offering a dramatic and serene setting. This leg of your trek is an essential part of your acclimatization process, preparing you for the challenges ahead as you get closer to the summit.
On Day 4, you’ll trek from Shira Cave Camp to the Lava Tower and then descend to Baranco Camp. This day offers a significant change in altitude and terrain. You’ll hike towards the Lava Tower, a striking volcanic formation, which provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Afterward, you’ll descend to Baranco Camp, located in a scenic valley, surrounded by towering cliffs. This day’s journey is crucial for acclimatization, allowing your body to adapt to the increasing altitude before the final ascent to the summit. The descending trail provides a change in scenery as you enter the heath and moorland zone.
On Day 5, you’ll continue your trek from Baranco Camp to Karanga Camp. This segment of the journey involves ascending the Baranco Wall, a challenging but rewarding climb. Once you conquer the wall, you’ll find yourself in a high desert zone, characterized by a stark and rocky landscape. The hike to Karanga Camp provides an opportunity to acclimatize further before the final push to the summit. Karanga Camp is nestled in a small valley, and you’ll spend the night there, preparing for the next day’s adventure. This camp offers fantastic views of the surrounding area and serves as a crucial waypoint on your way to the summit
Involves trekking from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp, marking a significant step closer to your Kilimanjaro summit. You’ll ascend to Barafu Camp, which is perched at an altitude of about 4,673 meters. This segment of the climb is relatively short in distance but comes with a steep ascent in a high-alpine desert environment. Barafu Camp is situated in a rocky, exposed area, offering minimal access to water. Here, you’ll have a brief stay, with a few hours of rest. It’s crucial to retire early this evening, as your summit attempt will commence in the middle of the night. Before bed, ensure you have your gear ready for the next day, including warm clothing, a headlamp with spare batteries, and insulated water containers, as the water may freeze during the ascent. This preparation is vital for a successful summit push.
Day 7 is the most challenging and rewarding part of your Kilimanjaro adventure. It begins with an early-morning wake-up call at Barafu Camp. After a quick snack and a hot beverage, you’ll start your summit attempt in the dark. The goal is to reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Kilimanjaro, before sunrise. You’ll climb through the frigid, pre-dawn air, guided by your headlamp’s beam.
As you ascend, you’ll encounter the rugged and steep terrain that leads to Stella Point. From there, it’s a relatively level stretch to Uhuru Peak. Witnessing the sunrise from the summit is a breathtaking experience.
After enjoying the views and capturing the moment, you’ll begin your descent back to Barafu Camp. From there, you’ll continue down to Mweka Camp. This day is physically demanding, so be prepared for a long journey.
Your descent brings you to Mweka Camp, located at an elevation of about 3,068 meters. Here, you can rest and celebrate your incredible achievement before descending further the next day.
On Day 8, your Kilimanjaro adventure concludes as you descend from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate. The day begins with a descent through the lush and misty rainforest, where you’ll retrace your steps along the Mweka Route.
As you lose altitude, the air becomes thicker, and the surroundings gradually transition from the alpine zone to the rainforest. You may encounter various wildlife and vibrant vegetation on your way down.
Upon reaching Mweka Gate, you’ll undergo some formalities with the park authorities and receive your summit certificates. This is a moment to celebrate your accomplishment.
Afterward, your journey will continue with a transfer back to Moshi, where you can rest, enjoy a well-deserved shower, and reflect on your remarkable achievement. It’s a day of both physical descent and a personal journey of reflection.
On Day 9, it’s time to bid farewell to Tanzania. You’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure. This marks the end of your incredible journey on Kilimanjaro, leaving you with unforgettable memories, a sense of achievement, and a deep connection to this majestic mountain. As you head home, may you carry the spirit of adventure and the triumph of this climb with you, reminding you of the heights you can reach with determination and perseverance. An amazing 3-day safari trip
Just finished a 3-day safari trip, now let's write about our true feelings about this journey. Firstly, regarding the consultation before the trip, Gadiel from Good One Tours answered my questions about safari very professionally and patiently, providing corresponding solutions. After we arrived in Arusha, he also thoughtfully arranged for a driver to pick us up. The driver who picked us up at the airport is Alinice, who is a very responsible person. Before safari, he waited for us at the airport on time and delivered us to the hotel. After finishing the Safari, he helped us arrange a vehicle to Moshi and recorded the driver's contact information to ensure that we could arrive smoothly. Rockie, ourdriver and guide during the safari, has been driving us for three days to search for various representative animals on the African continent. His explanations are enthusiastic and he has shared a lot of knowledge. As the chef, Juma prepares delicious food for every meal, which is a time-consuming but particularly important task, ensuring that everyone has sufficient energy during the Safari process. Everyone works diligently and is responsible to us, leaving a good impression of Tanzania on us. Without a doubt, their work deserves respect. Of course, I expressed my gratitude to them in my own way. The Chinese people and the African people are good friends forever! Thank you again!

Exceptional experience!
Our safari experience was fantastic. The guides were knowledgeable about the animals and their lives, always explaining things in detail. The safari truck was clean and comfortable. We also appreciated communication throughout the reservation process. Gadiel’s morning check-in call before our tour started was a nice. Overall, it was an exceptional experience!

Amazing
Went on a 3-day safari trip to Serengeti and Ngorongoro on a group trip. Very nice experience and well organized trip, especially considering the amount you pay! Got to see many animals Gadiel communicated very well with me for the transfers and hotel arrangements. And when there was a misunderstanding about accommodation once he immediately arranged another hotel and direct transfer. If you're looking for a nice Serengeti trip but are somewhat on a Budget I would really recommend booking with GoodOneTours.

2 friends an I went for a 4 days safari with Good one Tours to Mikumi and Selous Park. Our guide, Juma was the best we could imagine. He did everything to make our safari incredible, comfortable and magical. We saw all the animals possible thanks to his perfect knowledge of the parks and the animals. He was very attentive both to our comfort and to explain the animal world to us. The lodges and the meals were perfect! Thanks again for the experience. We recommend 1000%.

Amazing experience
We went on 6-day group camping safari with Good One Tours, it was an amazing experience. We were blown away by the sunset in the Serengeti. The views at Ngorongoro Crater were just as incredible, and we saw so many animals up close, including lions, elephants, and zebras. The camping was comfortable, and our guide made sure we had everything we needed while helping us spot a huge variety of wildlife. Gadiel was responsive and resourceful We recommend Good One Tours for anyone looking for a great camping safari.

Unforgettable and amazing
We booked with Robinson and had Juma as our host in the day of safari. Booking was straightforward and instructions were clear, all aspects of the trip were well organized. Robinson was an amazing host, very knowledgeable and a great driver. He also dealt with our lost luggage and arranged for its return to us. We had the most amazing day and were so impressed with his skills- he spotted a sleeping hyena under bushes! Highly highly recommended!

best and worst of safari
Safari is great, parks are amazing and animals fantistic. We get to see all big five. Good one tour guys are good and avaible, Gadiel, Abraham, Elii got to make us feel good in every situation. During safari we change guide, the first one (Abraham) was really good, but the second (who drove us through serengeti and ngorongoro, the two main park) was not a guide but just a driver. Durimg safari you will see buches of cars getting auperclose to a lioness with cubs or going offroad to get out of huge group if jeeps that get close to see a leopard very far, so the guide would make a huge difference to not make you feeel like you are just a spoiled white human who want to make a picture. overall was a lifechanging experience, and good one tour is really looking after clients agency

Amazing safari
Goodone tours helped us organising everything about our safari. We visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, Tarangire and Arusha National Park. Despite the second guide who was with us the last 3 days was very unkind and not prepared, our first guide was excellent and the experience was amazing. Recommended but you should ask for having good guides before. All the people from goodone tours were amazing, kind and available.
