Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions outline the agreement between Good One Tours (hereinafter referred to as “the service provider”) and you (all individuals listed in the booking form). By confirming your travel with Good One Tours, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions detailed below. Should you have any questions or require clarification, please contact us directly.


1. Booking and Payment

1.1 All services are offered subject to availability and are not guaranteed until a booking is confirmed.
1.2 A deposit of 10% of the total tour cost is required upon booking to secure your reservation. For certain tours, a higher deposit may apply and will be communicated before booking confirmation.
1.3 The balance of the payment is due upon arrival and must be paid after arrival.
1.4 Full names and details of all travelers (as per their passports) are required at the time of booking.


2. Prices

2.1 All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.
2.2 Prices are subject to change without prior notice until confirmed.
2.3 Prices include:

  • Accommodation as outlined in the itinerary
  • Park and reserve entry fees
  • Transport and guided services
  • Meals as specified
  • Game drives

2.4 Prices exclude:

  • Personal expenses (laundry, beverages, etc.)
  • Tips and gratuities
  • Travel Insurance
  • International airfare
  • Visa and passport fees

2.5 Accommodation options may include campsites, lodges, or hotels depending on your chosen package. Should any accommodation change before confirmation, a similar or higher standard will be provided.


3. Insurance

It is mandatory for all clients to obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance for the duration of their trip. This insurance must cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and repatriation.
Optional insurance coverage includes:

  • Trip cancellation or curtailment
  • Emergency evacuation services (such as flying doctors)
  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings

We strongly advise that all clients review their insurance policies to ensure they meet the required coverage for travel in Tanzania.


4. Complaints

4.1 If you encounter any dissatisfaction with a service provided, notify your guide or driver immediately to allow an opportunity for resolution.
4.2 Unresolved complaints must be submitted in writing to Good One Tours within 28 days of the tour’s conclusion. We will not entertain claims filed beyond this timeframe.


5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 By You:

  • Cancellations more than 30 days prior to the start date will incur a loss of 5% of the deposit.
  • Cancellations between 15–30 days prior will incur a loss of 15% of the total cost.
  • Cancellations less than 15 days prior will result in a loss of 20% of the total cost.

5.2 By Us:

  • We reserve the right to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure. In such cases, we will provide alternatives or a full refund.

6. Changes to Itineraries

6.1 Any changes requested by the client post-confirmation may incur additional charges and are subject to availability.
6.2 The company reserves the right to make changes to itineraries or services due to weather conditions, road closures, or other unforeseen events.


7. Liability

7.1 The service provider is not liable for any personal injuries, losses, or damages sustained during the tour. Travel is at your own risk.
7.2 While we work with reliable partners, we cannot be held responsible for third-party errors, delays, or cancellations.


8. Travel Documents

8.1 Clients must ensure they have valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documentation. The company is not responsible for any issues arising from non-compliance.


9. Tour Authority

9.1 For safety reasons, clients must comply with the guidance and decisions of the tour guide or driver.
